It's Been Far to Long....

I can't believe it has been a month and a half since my last post. Time has been flying by. December was a fun filled month with just about no time to just relax. I had multiple concerts and performances which were sure to keep me busy as well as just the normal hustle and bustle of the season. Christmas was a wonderful time once again. I enjoyed the time I got to spend with my family and the memories created and shared. Christmas is such a beautiful time that often gets lost in the craziness that we as a society place on the holiday. I just enjoy the time it allows me to spend with my family and friends. Christmas is especially important when your spending it with someone who has a terminal illness like Alpha-1. You don't know how many of these times you have left so you try and make the most of every moment that you get and Christmas is no exception to that for me. I truly enjoy making the most of the time I spend with my Dad even though it can get stressful and overbearing at times (anyone who knows my father knows exactly what I'm talking about).  Over the break I was sure to keep busy. I spent time with family and made oh so many memories. I also spent a lot of time with my friends who are truly amazing. I attended Katina one of my Best Friends Birthday party which was a girls night out to the melting pot and the movies. It was great fun as it always in with my most wonderful friends.I also went to a sleep over at my friend Laura's house with all my Best friends once again. We never fail at having a good time. My grandfather also turned 92 over break which was a fun celebration and time with the family. For new years this year I had some of my friends over Katina, Kate and Sammie. We had a great time watching movies, eating, talking, hanging out, and of course watching the ball drop on TV in Time Square. My holidays were filled with the most important thing to me, the people who I am close to and mean the most to me. Other then that things have been fairly normal for me, nothing extremely major going on in my life over the last couple of weeks, just the regular craziness of school and all of my activities. This coming week is midterms which always prove to be a stressful time but next weekend after all the exams are over I will get my reward of spending the weekend in Philly with my youth group which will be a stress free and exciting environment. Hope everyone is doing well. Happy New year. Remember Hope is Still Alive.
