Who Know it could be the Phillies!
I have not written in a couple of weeks. I was going crazy! The end of the school year is always an extremly busy time for me and prevents me from having much time with out my noise in a text book or completing a project. Now that the school year is over a lot of stress has been taken away and the craziness has disappered for a little while. Summer for me is always 8 weeks to chill out, the rest of the year I am going crazy from place to place and never get a chance to get some air. Summer is also a time now that my Dad can no longer work to spend some quality time with him and get to create some memories with out taking a big trip or going on some sort of adventure. We create the memories and laughs at home right in our living room, often times it occurs in front of the TV when we are watching the Phillies who are my Dad and my favorite team. We get a chance through watching the phillies to share time together and enjoy watching the game together. My entire life the Phillies will always be a time with my Dad to me. Thats how its always been, it seems sometimes thats the only thing we have left that hasn't changed. The phillies haven't changed for us even though my Dad has alpha. It is one of the things I feel like has been unaffected and there are not many things that I can say that about. Its the one thing that we both can count on from april until october and we both know that game time is our quality time together. Summer is a great time for me to spend time with my Dad but it also brings saddness. Anyone who has watched someone they love suffer or go through something horrible will know exactly what I am talking about. It is great to be able to spend loads of time with him but it brings saddness because every hour of your day is surrounded by seeing them suffer and seeing what struggles they go through. Its hard to watch sometimes and brings me down but then I remember theres the Phillies games and the Phillies games are what makes all that saddness and pain melt away for the 3 hours while the game is on. Its the one thing my dad and I will always have! The Phillies!
