Day 6 - My Favorite Quote! This is my favorite quote by far. This reminds me that all though some days may be difficult there are always good things that can happen and my day can change. It helps me to appreciate the little things in my life and treasure the little moments.

Day 5 A place I love is Killington Vermont. You probably have noticed by now how much I write about this beautiful place and how much my family visits. I love to ski there and just love spending time enjoying such a beautiful place! For me Its a place of hope!

Day 3 and Day 4!

Sorry I missed yesterday... Wednesdays are the kind of days that make me want to go crazy! Day 3 Is my Favorite Book This book I read when I was in Elementary school and I still love this book, its about a girl who lives in the frontier and explores the wilderness. It documents that challenges and family events in her life. It takes place during the time of Westward Expansion. I love history and love the Character May Amelia and could relate with her. I have read the book numerous times and believe I will probably read it a few more times! Day 4 - A Picture of Yourself 10 Years ago This picture is when I was seven ... its a bit longer then 10 years ago. This picture was taken on a trip through New England and this is my Dad and I in front of a Trolley at the Trolley Museum.

Picture Challange Day Two!

Day 2 A Picture that Makes me Happy! This Picture Makes me extremely Happy. I love spending time with my dad and have always been a daddy's girl and this most definitely shows that. My dad is extremely important to me and has taught me a lot. Even when I am mad at him for being protective I know its only because he cares. He has changed my life in so many ways. Over the last couple years since alpha has affected him the way we spend our time together has changed, instead of me pitching for a softball team and him catching me for workouts we now sit together and watch the Phillie's or just talk, although the things we do together have changed the love we share has not. I love you Dad!

Birthdays are more the Cake, Ice Cream and Gifts

Image
I feel like this week couldn't get any crazier! I feel like I am running around every second of the week with not even a moment to catch my breath. I have been working on College Applications which always take an enormous about of time, and stress me out to no end. They are finally starting to come to a close which will provide me with much happiness. Then of course I have marching band which in fall is just about my entire life, I love band and playing my instrument but there are days it gets very tedious and daunting. Then I have school which keeps me pretty busy, even when I would rather be sleeping but its part of my life and I know that in the end it will all be worth it. Then this week a very special Birthday was celebrated in my family. My Dad is another year older and I thank God everyday for birthdays because we don't know how many we have left. I try to enjoy spending time with him and making that day special for him to know how much I love him. Before alpha all I c...

I can get through the painful moments I can move on from all that is holding on to me I can grow like a flower to become a new being I can find happiness and smile for real I can fight horrible feelings and make them golden I can laugh with joy and pleasure I can never give up and keep fighting the fight I can face my fears head on and take them out I can find peace in myself and love for me I can be happy with just me the way I am.

Vermont!

Image
Last weekend my family and I went to our 2nd home, Vermont. We always enjoy traveling to a place filled with so many good memories for us. Like I had written in last post Vermont has taken on many roles for my family. Vermont is a relaxing place for my family that is filled with new and old memories being relived and created. We enjoy going to our favorite breakfast spot Sugar n' Spice which is a must if you are visiting the killington area. We also enjoy touring the many places that are well known to us from before and discovering new places that perhaps we haven't checked out before. This time Vermont was different for us. Since Hurricane Irene Vermont has been going through a lot of rebuilding after the massive flooding that the hurricane caused. There were many places destroyed that now have to be rebuilt and my family wanted to go and support the people struggling, but Vermont is not struggling. Vermont is thriving, there new slogan Vermont Strong is very true. Vermont is...

A Special Place

It has been way to long since I have written. My senior year has taken over my life! Since I last wrote school has started and Senior year is going much better than Junior year ever did. I love my classes that I am taking of course with exceptions here or there and I am just so thrilled it is my senior year I think I will be able to look past any negative situation in some positive form. Marching band and School are taking up all my free time. There is no time to be messing around, I am at school, doing homework, at a rehearsal, lesson or practicing it seems. So to take a break from the crazy month that it has been my family and I are going to be traveling to our favorite place! We will be spending the weekend in Vermont. There are so many memories there with my family and I feel like a part of me grew up there. Every winter my family would travel up there to ski until skiing became impossible for my family. With Dad having Alpha one of the things he truly loved to do has been taken aw...
